~ Below the Surface ~

There are those who work below the surface, behind the scenes, and away from the crowd’s attention. They work for the sake of meeting needs. They work for the chance to reach at wants. They work to ensure the rubber meets the road, the wheels are greased, and the coast is clear. The river of life continues all around us. Plenty serve. Plenty split shifts, work overnights, and help kids with homework along the way. Plenty sacrifice. What is spectacular isn’t the individual effort. What is amazing is the constant struggle, the worldly symphony, that is drowned out by the pressure of time and the sound of rushing water.
