In this rodeo of life, in this trapped sense held beneath lasso, gathering dust and scars, we must take care of ourselves and each other. We must feed ourselves to health, and drink ourselves to freedom. We must absorb the healing that was meant for us, and let go of everything that wasn’t. We must sit and rest when overwhelmed, and move with economy when the time is right and necessary. Our involvement in life’s findings means that the interconnection between mind and body is undeniable. It is irrefutable. It is the path inward, outward, downward, and upward.
