~ Nepantla ~

The inbetween. The realm between this and that. Where captured birds become restless enough to take to flight, and domesticated dogs are content to lie without question of existence or betrayal. The land between borders and outside of known expectations. The birds return to nest and rest. We marvel at their flight while, unknowing as to our own place or status. We become envious of those who incessantly roam. We pardon those who have settled for comfort. We traverse these realms searching for our forever home, treating the path along the way as a test with some sport.
