The body remembers everything,

even when the brain doesn’t,

you may wish this sting

simply wasn’t.

And, now that I bring it up,

the difference between

ought and want,

is the same thing

between must

and mustn’t.

With one tip of the cap,

you can get a little bit back.

When what you should do

has the power to slap you

sideways, as a matter of fact.

Trust the muscle memory

over your body,

and those bodies whose

instinctual response

to a situation or person,

you witness first hand,

though they speak not

the same language,

or draw water from

the same land.

The body knows what

it ought to do,

and what it ought not

to do.
