Lord please give me a safe haven,

a play pen to pray in

and engagements to be saving.

I’m not asking to seem in fashion,

I’m basking in a dream of passion,

biting at the cusp of the wave

which may just harbor my soul.

It may not save me from the grave,

but it may just make me whole.
