As we scroll through life, doing this tap dance on our phones, let us remember what lessens the strife, and helps us feel less alone. It is the number of likes, nor each follow for unfollow, it’s what’s demonstrated on the open mics which leave us a bit less hollow. It’s the sense of deep, rich, meaningful connection, of true relationship, and sharing voice, that sense that somehow together we’re headed in the same direction, and that happiness can be a personal choice.
