I dream of distant lands,
where troubles seem fewer
and there are those who understand, where the doers of deeds who leave the world better don’t receive reprimands, and their plans aren’t dashed to the drains in the streets by wicked hands.
But those distant lands will be here, and the streets will be paved with gold. So, until then my dreams will be near to me and saved, as onto them I will hold.
