Arriving to the Taj Mahal on a Friday, only to find out that it was closed for worship, was disappointing, and yet, a metaphor for life. It would seem that even the monument to love is elusive, and begging to be pursued with everything we have. Thankfully, based on some hearty conversations with locals, and some clever rickshaw maneuvers through trails and a road that would not appear on the tourist map, we were able to get a shot of the place known all over the world. I am told that it glows in the moonlight, and I must return some day to see it with my own eyes. For now, I will rest in my love for this wild and beautiful country that is an entire world unto itself…
