I remember romping through the forest, stomping through the thickest mess in search of adventures, with bound ones strapped to my back. It was so quiet I could hear each twig and leaf crack, neither seeking relief nor respite, but a magical quest with my hound, and not much has changed as I belong the most when no one else is around.

It is said that the pen is mightier than the sword. Perhaps then the needle is even mightier than the pen, as the body canvas tells stories in a permanent and living fashion. I am so grateful that one such #artist and #storyteller ( @candace_corrupt ) was able to take me as a walk-in to fulfill an available slot in her schedule. It is always wonderful to get some #freshink ! I couldn’t be happier with both pieces. 😊🎨🙌💜✌The first represents my favorite line of my character in #thecrucible , and the second is our dearly departed bassethound’s paw print filled in as “Cash” truly was the ‘man in black’, accompanied by the opening line to my favorite song by his namesake. Arriving to the Taj Mahal on a Friday, only to find out that it was closed for worship, was disappointing, and yet, a metaphor for life. It would seem that even the monument to love is elusive, and begging to be pursued with everything we have. Thankfully, based on some hearty conversations with locals, and some clever rickshaw maneuvers through trails and a road that would not appear on the tourist map, we were able to get a shot of the place known all over the world. I am told that it glows in the moonlight, and I must return some day to see it with my own eyes. For now, I will rest in my love for this wild and beautiful country that is an entire world unto itself…
