A portion of the proceeds will benefit Safe Embrace, a local non-profit organization dedicated to assisting women, men and children affected by domestic and sexual violence.

we look for correspondence to conspiracy, assuming connections within intent. But what if in all this lunacy, the pathways thought were not the ones meant? For we are all connected, and shape each other’s lives. It might be unexpected who thrives, who suffers, who buffers the impending waves and saves others from mass graves. The order is written across our blood. The author likes hiding clues to be found. When we intuit through information’s flood, that’s where we find common ground. The eternal can be marked down in a bargain bin, and the paltry can be sold for more than a fleet’s worth. Everyone’s body is born to begin, and will be put to rest in the earth.

I flee to nature to be refreshed. I escape to the quiet, to the seasonally sustainable, and to the stillness of creation. Still until the inspiration takes hold, makes waves, but also paved the way for more saves.

Our sense of touch has been diminished, having devalued life intensely enough, long enough, disproportionately enough, that it’s as if our finger pads have been burned off. As though we’ve lost all sensitivity to being burned, and so we have expressionless faces when seeing piles of ash everywhere we look.

We are living stranger things, witnessing it played out before our lives. Each headline sings and brings doubt as to which of the characters survives. We seek messages from fibers in walls, we protect those we deem as our tribe, and you wouldn’t believe reality in all, if it was written by a fictional scribe. Information being passed, gains being made in limited sectors. The wounds amassed, people harassed, and victims who’ve run their last, now far outnumber the ‘protectors’.

Continuing to take what life offers unsolicited, adopting the faking until making approach, inevitably means the breaking of spirit somewhere along the path to perceived perfection. However, if we adopt the perpetual deficiency, the limited nature of our being, the fibers within allow themselves to be bridges between experiences, and windows to the opportunities for growth.
