SIDEWAYS EIGHT PROJECTS

~ a shell ~

We are blessed with shells for part of our swim, that we must shed sometimes to move on, and though the light during the move may seem dim, the horizon makes it worth it to be gone. We are shaped by the shells we inhabit, and we shape them with our presence and breath, and soon enough, we let go of our own body for the earth to grab it, the last shell that we shed upon death.
