and makes it feel like a kiss.
The front row at its shows
could be called the nosebleed section.
We suffer from the bliss of insurrection
without consequence of action.
We spend hours searching for the right direction,
and twice as many spent wasted in distraction.
But a great poem has phrases
that stay with you, it chases the day
with you, for it slayed you and then stayed true to its own words, so few, which never decayed,
but played through.
