These bodies we inhabit, full of blood and water, bone and sinew, nerves and flesh, regret and accomplishment, are fragile and yet shapeless. The breath and light holding them up is not sustainable by means of mechanization alone. There are other forces at work which may or may not be visible in themselves. However, the scattered displacement of drift in the universe is undeniable, and the ripple effects of such interventions will be felt by generations to come.
