My Cart

~ My Cart ~
.
This piece will be one of several original pieces
written specifically for an upcoming show.
Each year the Bruka Theatre of the Sierra (where I have the honor of being the current Poet in Residence) holds its annual ‘BIGGEST LITTLE THEATRE AND NEW WORKS FESTIVAL’.
.
I have opted to submit, for my contribution to the 2020 festival, the next installment of the special event series I host in collaboration with Spoken Views Collective: Poets of the Caribbean.
.
This chapter of the series will be dubbed ‘Yard Sale’ in which we focus on the topics associated with the phrases and questions – ‘Everything Must Go’, ‘What do you need to let go of?’ , ‘What burdens which you are carrying are you meant to leave behind?’ , and ‘People over Profits’
.
The show will broadcast Facebook Live and across GhostLightTV on YouTube on
Sunday, November 15th, 2020 at 8pm
and will incorporate other voices besides my own
from within the Spoken Views Collective as well as abroad within the Caribbean region
