We can reclaim the space in our urban centers, and reclaim space in our hearts, thus removing ground from love’s biggest dissenters, and placing it back in our innermost parts. These green spaces designed to cover the ties which once bound the country together, may bind it together even closer still. For they grow life from the urban lies, as conversations can flow forever, and allow passers to richly feel.

Are you more of a sun or a moon? Do you generate light and warmth from within and radiate outwardly from your innermost? Or, do you reflect the light you are given so that others may acknowledge the source? The darkside of the moon is one of the coldest and most inhospitable places which has ever been accessible to humankind, and yet we are incapable as mere mortals of walking on the surface of the sun. Somewhere in between, life thrives. If we were any closer or further away that would not be possible. How magnificent is the universe in all of its orchestration?

If we are not actively listening to each other, in the words that we are saying AND the way in which they’re being said, then we are neither hearing nor understanding. This is how wars start. This is how lives are lost. This is how certain individuals go through their entire lives without understanding or ever really being understood. This is how relationships break down and wounds arise. This is perhaps the greatest single threat to mental health awareness. This divide being bridged is how we might come to save ourselves from ourselves.

while being the nurturing warrior you were destined to be, in spite of the all-too-often lack of comfort in safety, may you remember.
In your cunning wit which can surpass the demagogues, your balanced soul to indicate how we should all live, your adventurous heart which keeps pace with the leaders of the pack, and your desire to laugh while jumping in puddles at the first solid rain of the season, may you remember.
